question about OEM bodykit...

i just bought the oem bodykit (sides & rear only) for my 2004 tsx...i bought it used here from a board member and i'm gonna install it myself to save the $200-$300 that the dealer would charge...my question is for those who have done the install themselves...for the sides.. would i just use the existing screws and such from the original sideskirt or would i have to get new screws..brackets..etc...? the parts i have are the 2 side pieces and 2 black (spacers?) pieces...as for the rear...i think i have all what i need including the exhaust tips...please help...thanks in advance...

Have you looked at the installation guide yet ?
www.handa-accessories.com
That'll tell you if you have everything ready to go.

yes i looked at the instructions for the install...seems very simple...i think i have all the parts...i got the 2 side pieces with the 2 what looks like extentions or something...then the rear with some screws and exhaust tips...looking at the instructions for the sides...it tells me exactly what i'll need as far as screws and what not...i was wondering if i was supposed to recieve the screws with the side pieces or does it come off the car from the original sideskirt?

I think the screws are re-used, but....doesn't the install. guide answers precisely what you're asking ? All Honda guide I ever read always list all included items first.

Did you actually look at the PDF from the link you posted for the side under spoiler install? That guide tells you exactly what hardware is reused or discarded.

You reuse 3 self tapping screws on the front and 3 self tapping screws on the rear of the side pieces. This is shown in step #1 and even has nice pretty pictures.

You might rethink a self install if you cannot follow that PDF for a DIY project.

yes i read it...the reason i asked what i asked is...if you look at the pdf file and look at the nice pretty picture on diagram #10...it says to replace old seals with the new seals ( the square little pieces with the hole in the middle)...it said i needed 20 of them...i didnt get those pieces...so i wanted to make sure i got all the hardware thats needed as far as screws and seals go...but yeah...i can do the install myself..very easy...i just wanted to know i got all the parts before i took anything apart...thanks

You asked about screws not seals. Yes, you will need the new seals.

screws > seals

or

seals > screws
