bump. we should troll on the tsx owner sign in thread and tell everyone that gets an '07 to sign this thread. since 2007 and 2008 are going to be short model years (9 months each) i bet they don't change the ecu (for once). that should give hondata extra motivation. if/when they manage to crack the ecu's they will likely have a larger install base of potential customers.

 

and then theres the 09 with the sh-awd..lol~

I'd sign it but I plan on getting boost eventually so wouldn't it be useless?

 

i cant imagine it hurting to have the reflash... but then again i dont know much about boosting TSX's

 

I think with the supercharger, you have to re-reflash it, or something, which would mean i'd only have it for until i added boost

so you'll need the hondata reflash after you get the SC?

if thats the case then you should sign

 

It's a different reflash that you have to get after it's SC'd

the only other thing i have heard is specific companies putting together performance packages and getting hondata involved to make a custom flash specifically for the hardware config they sell.

Would be nice to have a flash for a SC. I don't need k-pro because i doubt i'll ever change it once its flashed, but i want to get a SC as well. If hondata sold flashes that accompanied the SC's that are hopefully coming out then that would be great.

i sent an email to hondata tonight asking them what is going on with the 07's and we were getting a lot of interest in these forums... hopefully tomorrow will bring good news

 

Though I'm not interested in a Hondata reflash at the moment, I'm adding my name to show support for the 07's. I can see a supercharger in the future, but that is very tentative.

im sure they do but if im lucky they forgot my name and only remember my email... i used a new address on my .mac account so... maybe they won't figure it out.

 

i really think the best thing to do is to copy-and-paste this list into a thread in the k-series reflash section of their forum.

there, you'll possibly be able to open a discussion with them. they'll see a list and demand, and maybe give you some answers if they're feeling generous.

it probably doesnt even matter if they are real people.

as long as you spread out the locations a little... some so cal, some mid west, jersey is always a favorite.

then make sure you are culturally diverse... get a handful of asian names, a few caucasions and your ocassional russian or hispanic.


i think we could make it look pretty legit.

but im not gonna go that route.
i want them to see these names and then when the 07 comes out notice that the 1st orders they get are all from these people.
then we might get a little bit more credit for all this, some respect for acurazine (not that they need it) and hopefully more info and possibly taking our opinions more seriously for future hondata stuff.
