OEM Fogs on Ebay

I just bought the OEM fog light kit from acura of woodbine off of ebay for $125. Kit comes with everything. I think that's a pretty good deal. there are a few more left i think. Im gonna try to wire it to the parking lights instead of the low beams.

I've seen Acura Woodbine's 'seasonal special' on their website, but I have not seen them on Ebay. What is their name on Ebay?
Also, I know on their seasonal list has a part number of 08V31-SEC-401 for a 2005 kit, while US dealers use part number 08V31-SEC-201. Does anyone know if it is the same kit, just with a different part number in Canada? I have a 2004.
I think there have been a few links about wiring the fogs to the parking lights, but I'm not sure if anyone has been successful yet.

I found OEM's on ebay too for $130, which is why I ask.... Keep us updated! I am curious to see how it goes... If it is simple, then I'll definitely pick up a pair

sorry...been out. it is the same acura dealership in canada that had the clearance sale. they put up about 3 sets of the foglights a few weeks ago. i was tracking them and bidding (no minimum, but had a reserve of $125 with option to buy now @ $125). i was unsuccessful for the first 2, as reserve was never met. on the third, i just did the buy it now @125.00

They are Acura of Woodbine. do a search for woodbine parts or try: http://motors.search.ebay.com/_W0QQs...awoodbineparts

their email is parts@acurawoodbine.com

E-mailed them about the fogs and got nothing back. Guess I'll have to call.

easier than i thought. i was curious and opened up the stalk. big mistake. there are little hooks and levers that get out of whack if you open up the box. took me almost an hour of trial and error to fix it, but i finally did. the rest was relatively easy. the fuse box was quick and self explanatory. the front bumper was easy to remove and light enought to take off myself. the wiring was super easy. it's also very easy to open up the steering wheel and replace the stalk. If your gonna switch out the bulbs, i recommend doing it before you put the bumper on, but it is really not that hard to do afterwards. Looks clean and the dealership gave me kudos on the install today when i went to get the oil changed.

No.

There's basically 4 types of fog's on sale on ebay.

There's the OEM Acura one which is more expensive.

Then there's 3 generic ones where peopel label them JDM, OEM etc. For those, the fog lights would fit, the problem is the wiring harness.

There's 3 different type of harnesses. 2 can be modified to use witht he TSX. The third (which is basically what all the EBAYER's have been selling for at least the past month) cannot be used with the the TSX at all..not even with modifying.

I wish I can be more clear but there's a billion page post on this on another site.

As for Acura Woodbine's foggies, I looked at the actual box and yes..it is a different part # but i'm sure it will fit. I think Honda has a problem with giving part #'s to TSX parts because even the A-SPEC sideskirt has a totally different part # printed on it then what's on the box. Weird. Anyways, I drove to Acura Woodbine and bought a set, the guy said people where buying 2-3 sets because they were so cheap and use them as replacements if/when the foggies lenses break.

they are the same thing. different part # because they are distributed through acura of canada - even though manufactured in japan. I have the box here on my table. everything is in english and french.

i think (from previous thread) that the switch with the blue back is no good - it is too long to fit. but you might be able to switch your VSA and fog lights switches. anyway, i don't think the wiring harness from that kit works. read the whole thread linked above.

oh wait, i don't think there is a link above. well, do a search for fog light install

hell yeah!

let's see, so far i've installed my own:
Rear Sway Bar
Shirt Shifter
OEM Fog kit
wood trim kit
spoiler
speakers
nav/tv/dvd thing

the only thing i've ever done before is speakers/amps. I figure ive saved at least $300 on labor alone and at least $200 from buying off of black market and ebay!
