Nervous at Speed
Yea i kno but when i got my rims, as soon as they put them on my car would slightly veer to the right and its been pissing me off so i dunno if its something they did when they put on the rims at my boys shop or wut. I offered to do it my self but i guess this is wut i get, im itching to get my stocks back on to see wut the problem is. It so frustrating....
u mean directionals as in the tread on the tire???? Never though of that ill check. i hope its just something small, but the guy at the shop couldnt do the alingment b/c their machine didnt go as high as 19 inchs to set a tire, so they just tried to rotate the tires and its the same thing so thats why i think its something with the alingment....

gsi00154 wasn't saying that he was nervous about driving at high speed, he said that his car felt nervous at high speed. Nervous meaning twitchy.

My TSX is stock and I feel that it is a bit nervous at higher speeds. I do not feel 100% comfortable with lane changes at speeds above 70 mph as I did in my stock 2000 Jetta VR6. I have poured over countless articles concerning this cars razor like handling, but have not really been floored by it.
What adjustments would you recommend to dial this car into the canyon carver that I crave it to be?

Towards the end of the breakin period, I got used to the facile handling of the TSX, and I got used to the very subtle adjustments needed for freeway driving, and also got used to tossing the TSX around on curved roads. Once I learned to not overcompensate at the wheel for an understeer that was not present, I found that the TSX does carve its path very precisely, and I've taken several local roads at far faster speeds with the TSX than the Jetta with a far greater comfort level...... much more confident in the TSX, now that I am used to it, than I ever was in the Jetta, fun basher that it was.
