Neo iPod ProLink

Neo iPod ProLink
Has anyone had Neo Car Audio's iPod ProLink installed in the TSX yet? My service manager highly recommended this as an iPod integration solution rather than Acura's MusicLink product.

The service manager I spoke with swears by it. He feels so strongly that this is much better than the MusicLink that he actually cleared it with Acura so that he can offer it to customers (although you have to order direct from Neo) and install it without there being a conflict of interest. The only thing that I'd like to see on it is display integration with the Navi.
Alternatively, I'm thinking about leaving my iPod in the console connected to the Aux input and using the Keyspan TuneView RF remote (http://www.keyspan.com/products/TVI200C/) to control the iPod. That way I can keep in the remote in the driver's map sleeve and still have an iPod display without having to keep dragging the iPod/cable(s) out.

You do realise the Neo controls the iPod via the headunit and steering wheel buttons, don't you?
You'll need the splitter harness to maintain the Sat Nav functionality - $35 from Neo, but available elsewhere for quite a bit less.
The only thing I think the Neo doesn't allow for is selecting specific Playlists - so either set that in advance of setting off, or just leave it in the general playback mode, whereby you can flick through all the songs on the iPod - sequentially or randomly, whichever you've set the iPod for.

Yeah. The way it was explained to me was that it gets connected with the Neo product and appears as a second CD player on the Navi. That kinda surprised me but this is what the service manager told me and I think they have installed quite a few of these. At that point you can control volume and track (back and forth) via the steering wheel buttons. As you said... no playlist controls which is no biggie for me. I'd just like to be able to browse artists/songs without having to yank my iPod out and I really don't want to mount it anywhere where it's visible.
I also have a Sirius Stiletto which is occupying my console port right now. I'm trying to figure out where/how I'm going to mount that as well. Too many gadgets.
