Muffler Change / CAT. Change

Hey guys. Hope all is well. I am purchasing 2 dual exhaust mufflers from magnaflow, already have in mind the diameter going across what will fit. Also I was thinking of removing my cat and replacing with a test pipe which will send fake signals to the ecu so the cel wont come on.

Question 1 any one have quad exhaust for the TSX ?
Question 2 has anyone put a test pipe on a TSX and has not gotten pulled over.

What Im thinking is the magnaflow muffler will be resonated which will tone the sound, Im still gonna expect some backfire which I have now but I love that.

Well I have magnaflow mufflers as well, but I bought these...

Personally, I don't think the quads would look good on the TSX and to make those mufflers fit you would have to cut the bottom part of the bumper. There is another member on here that did put quads on his TSX, but the TL type-s ones. And from what I saw, it was not easy.... But if you can pull it off, I would love to see some pics.

Here's that link to the other member that put quad exhaust on his TSX.....

Thanks guys for the options. I def know and understand that I will need to cut a piece of the bumper off in order to pull it off. I am gonna do it guys. I am purchasing the mufflers on the 30th of OCT. Then hope to get them in a few business days. After the job is done Ill def post some pics. Im also getting my ECU reflashed this weekend. So one thing at a time.

Skip the ricer mods like quad exhaust tips on a 4 cylinder single exhaust engine.

Focus on performance, not this kid stuff..

Since you asked for opinions: I think your money should go to performance upgrades.

Go for it though if it's what you want. I hope it turns out the way you want it to. It's your car and you should do what you want!

I am in the process of building a custom stainless steel exhaust using CT-Engineering Universal Mufflers.

Let us know how your project turns out. I give props to anyone trying something new.
