Cool. I'll probably do a header upgrade at some point.

Let us know what you think. I'm on the verge of changing the header myself so I'll take as much feedback as I can get.

how is the coating on the 'new' dc header? Thick ceramic coating on the outside and in (is it even possible to coat the inside?). I like the gains and price, but can't bring myself to believe this would be as robust a design as comptech's SS header.
Really though, I would rather spend <$300 on the dc sport header if the ceramic coating is thick and on the inside as well.

Has anyone gone with the OBX header yet? From what I can tell it looks pretty well identical to the DC Sports but it's made from stainless.

Yup, one guy just got it. https://acurazine.com/forums/showthread.php?t=20305

If it turns out to have similar gain as the DC, I might just get one for some bling.

just finished the install. it was pretty straight forward no real problems, took me
and a friend about 3 hours from start to finish.
now time for my REVIEW. so far i've only driven it around the block, i live downtown toronto, so i didn't really get to push it that hard yet, but from the little ride i took, i can definately feel the car push harder on lower rpms, the cars feels less slugish when you're at a complete stop, much smoother now and the needles move faster through the rpms. and the sound, i love that hissing it sounds so sweet. IMO excellent mod for the price. i definately recommend it.

Nice! I had always heard that the gains from the header were more in the upper rpm's. Any little improvement in the low band is great. Keep us updated after you've driven it for a while.
