im leaning towards the idea of lessening the rotational mass would mean that it would be harder to transfer the movement energy from the car into the engine components. iwth a heavier mass it would be harder to spin, so it would absorb more energy, it would brake well. with lesser mass, the component is now free to spin more, which means less energy required, which means less eneergy absorbed.
thats as far as highschool physics has got my brain going. feel free to add more

i constant engine break as well. i never leave the car in nuetral when im driving, which is a factor of burning more gas, but having more control.

You actually burn MORE gas in neutral than during engine breaking. The higher revs during engine breaking are from the car's momentum, not burning fuel. When you are in neutral the engine must burn a small amount of fuel to keep from stalling.

so keep on engine breaking and don't worry about burning more gas. best of both worlds-

i read somewhere from kurt_bradly that the clutch on the rsx-s will fit the tsx. with that I(myself,me) assume that the flywheel will also fit the tsx. if that is the case then we already have a lot of companies that make flywheels for the tsx. i would check with kurt first to make sure or ur local acura dealer.
