Wanting to convert the tails to LED but do something different and not a ring of LED's with the middle that lights up. I still like the BMW M3 LED tail lights the best and want to try to bring that look to the TSX. So here would be the idea for the placement pattern:

I think it looks pretty good, but is there a reason why the top and bottom is left unlit?

Would try to keep LED clusters the same size for the inner and outer lenses...

 

That looks pretty good, it's different than the other LED taillight conversions I've seen for the TSX.

 

Looks lame. Putting a squared off pattern in a circular light just doens't look right.

 

I have to agree. It looks uncomplete.

 

I appreciate the feedback. For those who said/agreed it was lame, can you think of something else to do besides the "ring"?

 

Not feeling it, but good thinking to at least experiment with it. I like how it looks on the BMW, but the TSX isn't a BMW; the overall design of the taillight is different, which is why I don't think this look will work.

Try a full circle light? May look better on the TSX

What led's are u thinking of using btw

 

Fill in the entire circle. You don't have to do it in a ring pattern, but at least fill out the rest of the space. Then you can even have them set to light up in an alternating pattern where only every other LED lights up for just the taillights on and then everything lights up for full brake application. It would be different from the ring pattern but it would avoid having the lights look amateurish.

man i cant believe kias have those... i dont get why we didnt get leds ne ways.. well at least mine! an 06 tsx.. =(. 06 accords got leds.
