My Dad is running adjustable Koni's in his SLK and they are amazing. Certainly a worthwhile upgrade.

The ride can be anywhere from practically rock solid to softer than stock with 9 steps in between.

I'm waiting for the shocks to install my springs. I'm wondering how easy it is to adjust the rear shocks...

okay so basically shocks will prevent rubbing of the tires once someone has installed springs? im new to the whole suspension thing.. but im not tryin to rub my tires.. and on top of that i dont wanna worry too much about how much extra peeps i have in my car and bla bla bla.. basically i want better handling and that damn gap b/w the wheel and the body to shorten.

Shocks won't help much with wheel rub. The only thing that can prevent wheel hub is to choose a wheel width and offset that doesn't stick out beyond the fender.

I think it helps in some cases because you lowered your car (consider everything is in spec) and you still use your OEM shocks. One day you put 4 ppl in it and went over bump and you heard sth. I'm sure it's also because the OEM cannot cope with the lowered and more progressive wound sprigs so it tends to bottom out?
correct me if i'm wrong.

Bottoming out is one thing but wheel rub is another. You can bottom out the stock wheel setup without rubbing.

I have springs and camber kits already. Just waiting for shocks so I can install them at the same time. Btw, I have Neuspeed sports and Eibach sports. Not sure which one to use until shocks are available so I can evaluate them back to back.

The Eibach sports are a greater drop than the Neuspeeds, I would think you would compare the Eibach ProKit w/ the Neuspeed Sports.

I thought about the Eibach pro kit first because it was the only springs available. However, after seeing how they look on other members car, I decided I need something with a larger drop front than the rear. I'm sure they are good springs but just not the right setup for me.
