k24a2(tsx) is the same design as k20a2(rsx type s) , so its a three lobe system.
Plus the piston compression is different as well.. tsx are 10.5 to 1 while the other k24a1 , k24a3 are less than 10.

ummm from what i have read and been told the k24a2 has a completely different head set up than the k20a....rsx -s engine. and i believe this is correct since we cant use the dc5 type R cams....and the RSX can. Imod i believe tried them and they didnt fit...

k24a2 is the only engine that has a 3 lobe system!!!
even the k20a2 head is diferrent than the jdm k20a.. k20a uses double valve spring.. thats the only difference..
On the Sport compact car magazines.. THey used the CRV block with the TYPE S head with type r cames i believed. And using HONDATA K-PRO to run it..
