I don't think anyone here knows.

Try here: http://www.k-series.com/

a little more techincal oriented with more members who are into engine swaps/mods.

Sorry.

Yes, here in Costa Rica there are a lot of riceboys hehehe but there is real people who build really nice machines. We have a lot of Toyotas and Nissan (blah!) and civics every where. I'm going to work on my engine, it's going to be a destroke K24 because the regulation over here (FIA) ask us for a 2L engine, i'm going to complement the engine with a Hewland 6speed dog box and some other parts, the engine it's going to be dropped into a 6gen 4 door Civic.

Some pics of shows over here (too much rice for my test)

This may be an extremely dumb question, but: why don't you use a k20? Are you trying to keep the compression ratio down for turboing or something?

Alaniz...nice! They do very good work. I was gonna have them rebuild, then port and polish my H22A head. But I figured since my Prelude just passed the CA smog....barely, I'll leave my engine alone for another year, then I'll have my H22A completely rebuilt.

BTW, what kinda race series are you entering the Civic in? Drag racing? or road racing?

For us (we didn't get the RSX or any K20 motored car) the K20A is much much more expensive than the K24 hybrid, the rod ratio on the K24 hybrid it's going to be better = more revs + tight gearing = better for road race plus the K24 i can find it here locally in Costa Rica (CRV).
