K-Pro calibration library

Now that we have a non-production version of "you-know-what " finally, I wonder if we'll ever get to this level:
http://www.k20a.org/forum/showthread.php?t=4480

I just got my tax return back and I'm wondering which setup I should bring to Church to get tuned. My first setup is going to be a "budget tune"...

Possibilities:

Option #1
- Toda or Hytech header
- RSX-S VTC
- Injen CAI

Option #2
- current short header
- VTC
- Injen CAI
- '06 TB
- '06 IM

I'll try to get more info if I have to switch to a cable TB. I know it's early, but now you can finally talk about all the stuff you can buy because the K-pro excuse is no longer valid!

What all is needed to make K-Pro work?
2002-2004 RSX Hondata K-Pro
Hytech Adapter Harness

Anything else?
Do we need the Primary O2 sensor from an 02-04 RSX?

You'll also need a manual transmission.

Dunno -- ask Marcus about it.

If we have the programmable option, I still wouldn't trust someone else's tune on my engine unless it's from a reputable source. There are too many things that can go wrong. Compare notes - yes, swapping calibrations - hell no.

850 for a harness? and you need to use 2 ecus? hmm

these would be a cheap way to get about 250ish hp
hytech harness $850
kpro (used) $900 with ecu around other websites
50degree vtc intake cam around $100 used
intake $200-250
header +/- $600-1000
test pipe $150
exhaust $600-1000
qualife LSD $900
hondata img $60
rsx/ep 02 sensor $150 used

all this for about $5210
and acording to hondata this will be about 240ish hp

^^ Now that's really hardcore.

Have you seen the amount of headache that kit has given? There's a local guy named Kevin that had his RSX tuned at Church/Epic. His setup ran into a crapload of problems, mostly on the labor side:

Call me a wuss, but cams, vtc, and race header is the most I'm willing to do.
