Knowing nothing about it other than what's at that website, I feel compelled to say this thing is bullshit.

$329.99 + $14 shipping for WHAT? It does not specifically explain on their website, nor do any dyno charts and such. Anyone care to e-mail them?

hondata did crack the 05at ecu although we would fail at the smog test because it alters the vin number.

Don't test it atleast you know hondata's background of hondas.

Yea its something about the vin number fails or something along the lines.

still look for an 04 ecu, but we might have issues with smog testing down the line..

if anyone is still looking at this thread, i have a question...

If the 05AT ECU has a problem with the VIN, how does the 04 ECU swap work? is it that the VIN can somehow be programmed correctly with it?

There is an entire thread on it. Basically you end up buying a new ECU of an 04 and using it modified by Hondata. That means you also need to get the ECU to recognized your immobilizer chips as well. That requires some time at Acura/Honda with their tablet HDS unless you do a modified key set (04 TL switchblade or Accord key) by putting in the chips of your 05 key into the modified keys. That is the simple explanation, but this is a thread on the Jet ECU reflash, so let's leave the ending here.

i was perusing crsx and found this thread about the jet ecu mod.

it's a few years old, but apparently at the time it was determined that it did nothing. just a fyi in case anyone is thinking about it. may want to have 2nd thoughts or do more research.

here is the link. added spaces since the URL gets changed by a-zine. not promoting CRSX or anything.
