Injen Intake - Low End Power Loss
Question for all of the Injen Intake owners.
Did you noticed a big loss or any loss in the low end power after you installed the Injen in CAI mode?
I have a 5 spd. Auto and I'm just worried that I'll lose too much of the power on the low end.

I hope i'm not mistaken. I thought part of the benefit of the CAI is a bonus to the stock low end power. i'm wrong?

thats incorrect. A CAI will help more with mid to top-end power. Low end will suffer because the stock airbox is removed.

but if you look closer, the blue line actaully starts at a higher level or power. Yes, there is a very slight loss of power at the initial phase of the curve but the red curve rises much higher at mid to high end bringing more total power. If you want a higher low curve and a lower mid - high curve, get a short ram intake. Those are designed for low end gains.
