Injen Intake Installed

I got the injen intake installed in cai mode today. it took my friends and me a little over 2 hours, but it couldve taken us easily 1 hour. The intake is a monster. I can hear the intake's sound at 1.5k RPM already- it drones and gets louder and louder and maxes out at around 6k-7k. The sound is great. If your loving the sound inside the car, wait till u get someone to drive your car and youll love it even more. I cant stop flooring the gas pedal. Although its supposed to take awhile for the ecu to adapt to the ECU, i can already feel the difference. The car lags a little more in the lower RPMs, but it definitely makes up for the lagging by spinning freely to the red line after that. i can feel a little pull at higher RPMs, but it should only get better from here. Definitely an awesome mod. im gonna go drive some more.

If you dont plan on driving through knee high water you have absolutely nothing to worry about. Especially in CALI!

I've had the Injen CAI for a year now and have never had a problem!

...and EURORTSX, those rims are MINE! ...just thought I'd remind you!

for reference on how to install the injen - i simply got the jack from my trunk and jacked up my car and removed the front left wheel, loosened the fenders and installed my intake from there....its much easier than removing the bumper.

Here's a link to a writeup with pictures I did during my install. Overall, it's pretty easy once you figure out what the hell the instructions are referring too. Injen did a pretty poor job with their pictures.

I agree, Injen did a crappy job, even the pics were no help. Luckily those putting in an intake now can use the write up. Good job!
