Injen intake damage

Injen intake damage

My intake came today!!!!

when i opened the box i noticed some of the pipes has some chips or powercoat defects on the end.





sorry for the blur.

Is this a problem? should i complain / return? is it no problem?

Well, it's made out of stainless steel anyway, so no worries about rusting. And the ends are going to be covered by the rubber gaskets anyway.

It's up top you, but I would just keep it.

Stainless steel? not aluminum? but either way, it won't rust.

yea ... but i'd ask for a discount on next purchase or a discount on the item .. unless the price drop was becuase of the damages

It probably just chipped in shipping. It won't rust and you won't see it once the hoses are attached. I wouldn't worry about it at all.
