Injen CAI, sounds muffled??? anyone else?

Just put in my Injen last night, put in CAI mode today and when the crossover comes around the sound of the engine sounds more muffled, kinda like the filter is restricting air flow. Does everyone else's sound like that?

I've heard intakes on RSX-S's and older VTEC cars and none of them sound really muffled like the TSX.

so... does everyone's sound like this? it only sounds like that when it's in the high rpms around 5500+.

haven't really fixed it yet, i just think maybe i was too used to how VTEC sounds on cars such as RSX-S, Integra Type R, etc... our i-VTEC doesn't come on as loud so maybe i'm just thinking it's muffled compared to them.

haven't got around to trying a new filter yet, but will try that later, maybe the new oiling is hampering airflow some how because when i looked at my filter the other day, it looks like it became slightly warped.

Also will try adjusting the depth of how far the filter is mounted on the pipe. but school is more important at this time!
