Got everything installed but the filter is sitting right on the body of the car. Can anyone tell me if they were able to prevent this? Been playing around with it and cant seem to get it away from the car no matter what angle its at.

In SRI mode or CAI mode? In SRI form, the end of that filter is pretty close to the wall. As a CAI tho, it should rest a few inches below the frame in the wheel well, with plenty of space. Just double check the install directions and that all the pieces are rotated properly.
