Good info, but I'd be more interested in seeing the torque curves, and the area under the curves than those peak numbers. They don't tell the whole story.

on thing that caught my eye, how is the hondata reflash only 10 hp over stock wtih all those mods, or are those dyo numbers wtih just those mods only? regardless of that fact, doesnt the hondata dyno chart show 30 whp gains over stock with just the reflash?

Hondata doesn't really provide much peak gains, at least not for the 04/05. The main area of gain is around the 6000 rpm mark.

Whats with that nasty drop off?! Why is the iVTEC change over so drastic? Or has that already been discussed in other dyno threads?

Sweet, I hope my similar mods on my AT dyno nearly as high when I make it back to the treadmill sometime this winter.

I know I can feel the difference, that's worth all the money to me right there.

A bunch of us in toronto and me in buffalo have dynoed our 04/05 AT and we hit the max of 176 hp the torque converter is probably what kills it from being any higher if i recall that was the issue.

Check the scale on the left, it's exaggerating the drop.

Hondata has THE MOST REAL-WORLD driving gains of any of the common mods you've seen on this forum. Look at that increase in area under the curve and you have to understand its about total gain, not top end gain. Just look at the area gained on the torque curve, its my favorite mod for sure!

i am sad that the 06 mt could not hit 200whp w hondata, intake, and header

seems like a n/a tuned i/h/e hondata 06 mt would only peak at 190 -195

I'm going to the dyno with both sets of keys (modded and not) and I'll post results.

So if you mod both sets of keys and the valet, do you get +6whp?
If so, that's not bad for a ghetto DIY mod.

Yes it is. I saw a copy @ Barnes & Noble today. The article was a quick read, though.

Good PR for Hondata.

It would have been nice to see a mod to mod comparison with an 04-05' TSX. - Just to see what the throttle body and cylinder head revisions do for the 06'

So are these dynos comparing each mod individually?

Where is the dyno of all 3 mods done to the car.

Go back and read post #1, 10, and 19. The numbers are all right there.

You really need to look at the areas UNDER the dyno curves to see where these mods are making power (i.e. hp/tq increases at specific rpms). Just looking at peak numbers will tell you nothing; almost like "rice modding".
