It looks to me like those chrome door protection strips which can be found at auto stores.

He probably just cut them up to fit and put them in those places.

I remember someone talking about using pinstriping. Maybe it's just chrome pinstripes.

Hmmm, For a while I had thought about putting just a single strip of that door edge trim on the horizontal spine of the lower grill, just to see how it would look. For some reason after I put my body kit on, it looked like the lower part of the front end didn't match the upper part due to the lack of chrome. Might give it a shot, if it looks cheesy, I will just take it off, 5 bucks lost, big deal.

I like the way the chrome looked on the intake covers, so I went the Avanced Auto and bought a few feet of the door edge trim. I got the trim on the riht cover, and it looked pretty good for abou 10 minutes. Then the stupid things just popped right off! I guess it's designed to adhere to a thinner surface, the ridges on the intake covers are too thick. I tried for a couple hours to get it to stay on, but to no avail. I wonder if the stuff on ebay is any different from the door edge trim I bought, or if it's just more expensive.

I did the same thing with some extra chrome door trim I had. It wouldn't go, too thin to fit. Do they make a thicker door trim?
