how do you remove clip from bumper?

hi, i got a K&N cai coming in within week and plan to install it myself.

anyways, i figured removing bumper would be so much easier method than removing wheel and yada-yada.

only problem is how do you remove those clips on bumper???

i tried searching with "clip removal" only info i got is electrical tape and flathead screwdriver..

i guess there's some prying involveD?

yeah, center pops up and out. Make sure you warm the car up. If you have weather like we do in Cincy, then the cold makes them easy to break. Follow the instructions on the fog light install found at HandA-accessories.com

I think when I took mine off, they all popped up having a spot for a flat blade on either side but there were TWO clips that the center pushed down then i had to pull up on the outer part. They did not have the spots for the flat blade.

All of mine had 2 openings for a flat head. There are 2 or 3 on the radiator cover that are a bitch to get at, so I recommend being slow on those. The bumper removal is still one of the easier things to do. Keeping track of the clips... well that is another story.
