Is this an option for AT cars as well as MT cars.

yes.
yes it sure is.
and to think, when I went to buy my car, there was a PWP 06 MT
with Navi and parchment sitting on the lot that I let slip through my
fingers... if I only would have known...
I didn't get it because of the bumpers and lip kits looking a bit off
color in some light situations outside. I should have looked past that.
well I guess I'm back to waiting with fingers crossed again.
watching this all unfold is going to be awesome though.

In the picture above of the TSX setup, it appears that the ECU on the left is from a RSX-S, and the ECU on the right is from a TSX. Excelerate, am I correct in my assumptions here?
If that's the case, it worries me b/c the TSX ECU on the right says "Reflash" on the sticker. Could that mean you have to have a Hondata reflashed TSX ECU (like so many on here are currently running) for this to work, or does it say "Reflash" for another reason?

Street tuning is not the best way to do tuning, be sure to do dyno tuning as well... Also, the stock TSX ecu will need a custom reflash (not the normal reflash) to work with the custom K-Pro'd RSX ecu.. I have already shipped off my ecu's for this procedure, it should be available to everyone in about 2 weeks time if all goes well at Hondata.. Expect pricing to be in the $1595 to $1795 range based on the information given to me by Hondata..

if you have a reflash now from Hondata, a regular one, you're a bit
out of luck. you'll have to have it reflashed again.
Hondata should give you a discount though if you already have a
reflash on your ECU. lets hope they do anyway.

and now they are doing the 05 AT K-PRO setup.
listed as all 04, 05 and 06's, AT and MT both.
so I'm guessing that as of now, they have both the regular and
the specialized reflash ready for the 05 AT.
all guessing, but it seems to make sense to me.

Just for the hell of it, I dyno'd my completely stock, 87,000 mile, manual trans TSX today, to get a baseline.. I did some runs to warm the car up, and then dyno'd the car, and here are those results..
Next, tuning on the completely stock car with K-Pro in a week or so.. But, in the meantime, my turbocharged stock internal K24A2 in my 99 Integra with K-Pro:
On race gas (21 psi, maxxed out turbo):

To be honest, I would always do dyno tuning first if possible, and then check everything on the street if necessary.. Unless an inertia only dyno is used, you can do almost all tuning on a dyno that has decent load control..

On a side note, I hope I dont come off being a know-it-all, I don't mean to ruffle any feathers..
I'm kind of new to the TSX thing, (I still own 5 other Honda vehicles, including a turbocharged drag car)but have been doing honda engine computer programming for over 10 years now, as well as doing Honda engine swaps, race car fabrication, and help with r&d/product development for a few race teams and shops.. I figured I better give a bit of my background, so that people don't think I'm new to the game..

Now I'm really glad I traded in my TSX and got the RL....
*If* I had to start all over again. It sounds like 2006 6MT would be the best platform for this because of the better cam, intake manifold, TB, etc. After I considered what it would cost to buy a TSX and get rid of my pet peeve 2nd gear, I think I stopped dreaming.
It's been a while since I've looked into aftermarket support, but wasn't Hytech and Toda the only companies who made a full race header for the TSX?
The K-pro would really need a modded VTC and race header to take advantage. At this point no company really makes a "production" race header, but I guess this would be the breakthrough that a company needed in order to justify the production & design costs.

J's racing header is not a "race header?"
what about Mugen?
what about Maxim/Works?
what about FEEL'S?
what about 5Zigen?
there's plenty of "race headers" if you ask me.
what is the difference you see between Toda and/or Hytech
and the ones I listed above that make them better?

You can just use the RSX/Civic Si VTC gear, it works just fine, unless you feel that you really need the extra 5 degree safety margin, and I never have on any of the cars I've tuned..

was there any word uttered about an 07/08 option in the near-future?
i really would've hoped that at least a reflash option for the 07/08 would've come out before k-pro for the 04-06's.

well a turbo would be sweet and you could probably use any kit that is made for the rsx as long as it doesn't come with piping and then just have your own custom piping made. the intercooler would look sick behind a spoon bumper. however I am really leaning toward ITBs cause I love the way they sound. or maybe do ITBs with a turbo instead maybe.

locash keep us informed on the setup your going to be running, im very intrested to see how it all works with the piping and what not

Plenty of room for an intercooler. Most of us will want to go w/ one of two styles: a Full-Race style (inlet/outlet are both on one side) or a rear inlet/outlet style. However, if you choose the rear inlet/outlet IC, you're most likely going to need to purchase a smaller aftermarket radiator to mount in the center.
And of course, no matter what style/size you choose, minor modification to the bumper and even the crash support may be needed.

im also assuming our exhausts are useless once we turbo... i have the greddy evo 2, i believe we need a 3in if we turbo correct? what exhaust options does that leave us with? and would it be more beneficial to go single outlet or dual?

i know this may be way to early to say but how much hp are we roughly talking about with an Garrett GT3076R turbo? and how much do you guys think this will cost to get the full turbo set up?
