Foam filters flow more air but also don't clean the intake charge as well. Good for competition but I dunno if I'd use it for daily driving.

I had a Monsterflow filter on my Injen CAI for a little while but I put the cotton one back on for this reason. I didn't notice a power loss, but the intake noise did get a TINY bit more muffled.

 

I have the hks installed on my tsx, it gave me better throttle response and its louder thats about it really, heres a pic of it installed

 

How much did it cost you and would recommed it?

I paid about 135 plus shipping from ebay, and if you dont want a cai and just want a short ram i say get it.
