H11 LEDs?

Can anyone recommend H11 LEDs (fog lights) replacement?

I found some here, but at $47 a piece it's an overkill:

I believe the ones that most people have been using are the Nokya Hyper Yellow H11 or Hoen H11 bulbs. If you do a search, you'll find a few threads on it. I was planning on getting the Nokya Hyper Yellow H11's.

LED's do not get hot.

Though I wouldn't think their light output would be great for our foglights.

What a waste of $47 then! As said above - there'll be a lot less light available.
Fine if you only every use the fogs for looks rather than practically when the weather demands.
So, if you're never likely to see fog where you live and drive to, then you'll be fine, otherwise why risk you and your passengers' safety, and that of the other road users driving in the opposite direction.
Lights are there to help you see, but equally they are there to help you be SEEN.

i do not use fog lights at all for a fear of burn in (rockblocker film) so I figure I'll give those a try. Even if they are not bright enough it's not a big deal. Btw, I don't know where you live, but we do not have foggy conditions here and I don't really see any point of fogs only for visual effects.

Post some pictures when you install them.....I have protective film on my fogs too and I hate having to turn my fogs off whenever I'm stopped at a light to prevent frying the film (replaced once already).

Well, its expected that they are not as bright, but if it saves your fog lights from cracking from the heat if you have the rockblocker film , might be worth it.

Are they bright enough to be even a form of DRL?

no, they are barely noticeable at night. Don't buy those. I am actually disappointed, while I did not expect them to be as bright as stock bulbs, they are way too dim. My search of LED H11 continues...

Aww.. come on klas, don't let the bastards drag you down, post up some pics! You must have at least snapped one of the bulbs before install, and a light output shot.

I didn't take a picture, as matter of fact I had them on for about a half an hour, then I took them off, packed it and mailed back the next day. Yes, I am wasting money on shipment + 15% restocking, but it was an experiment. When I stated my reason for my return they replied to me mentioning those lights are intended for Day Running Lights... not for fogs.

Btw, the only test I did was to turn them on/off in complete darkness when I was behind the wheel and with my low beams on I could not tell the difference.
