Hey guys. Ive been needing some help deciding on what i want to mod first. Ive gotten many opinions and what ive heard most is. Intake, exhaust, headers. In that order. Im not entirely sure what i should do. I took Wen's (from Dsport maginzines) advice and came up with a plan before i started to jump into it. I want my tsx to sound bitchin, look bitchin, and have the performance to back it up. So i was going to take the advice of my friends and start with the Injen sp series cold air intake that converts into a short ram, then a skunk2 cat-back mega power exhaust, then Weapon-r stainless steel headers. I got this car with about 91,000 miles on it. A seafoam cleansing is in order i presume. After those upgrades i would figure a Comptech strut bar, hondata ecu reflash, and maybe later in the future a comptech supercharger? what do u guys think.

with the computech rear sway bar you will need to upgrade the suspension too, because the mount that holds the sway bar has had alot of problems with snapping under stress if you dont also upgrade suspension

 

Hondata reflash first; by far the most bang for the buck.

Exhaust last; by far the least bang for the buck.

In between, rear sway bar, intake, exhaust header.

 

hondata, tein basics, rear sway bar, intake, headers, rims, auto up windows, and one touch sun roof. I believe those are the best.

Anything else is extra for your pleasure.

 

I would def say one of your first mods to get is to upgrade to the 06-08 intake manifold and throttle body!

 

That's not the top HP/$ at the moment...

 

save up and get a supercharger

 

If you got that kind of cash to make it rain (or more to make it thunderstorm). Go for the TSX Supercharger.

With the kinda of cash for the TSX S/C, suspension, I/H/E, etc... You could upgrade to a 04-06 TL and add a S/C only and satisfy your need for speed.

 

i would say go with suspension first!

 

If you want performance first, get the reflash. If you want sound first, get a SRI. If you want handling get a progress rsb first. Exhaust won't do much for you except sound.



honestly, the tsx isn't a quick of a car unless you s/c or t/c it, but whatever you do just make sure you enjoy your car.
