fastest tsx?

i am thinking about buying a tsx. I am coming over from a cls with i/h/e/p. What kinda hp will a tsx with reflash exhaust and intake be putting down? What would a NA tsx with all the bolt on run in the 1/4 mile?

Take a peek in the Dyno Thread in the Performance section. The fastest street TSX would be BigBen, but he is boosted. I'm thinking TSX2345 would have the fastest NA since he has the HyTech exhaust, but I could be wrong..

Hmmm....... Reflash, Exhaust, and a CAI. Probably like 190-200 at the wheels. Add on the Pulleys and you'll get more as well as headers. If you want power coming from a CL-S you're better off getting a SuperCharger with the TSX.

If you've got a boner for speed and driving stupidly, you'll be quite disappointed with the torque. Don't get me wrong, it's a very fun car when driven reasonably but if your main intention is beyond reasonably safe driving, you won't be satisfied.

I have an 07 6spd with just a short ram.. ran 15.3@87 mph here at sacramento raceway... I might go tommorow since I added a dc header...

Wow thats not bad at all! Is that about 0.5 seconds slower than what a CL-S would run in the 1/4? Either way i was thinking our tsx would be in the upper 15's.

I think JTso has just about all the performance mods.

If you get I/H/E/P and a reflash, it'll be like coming from your CL-S or even feeling alil better.

Don't forget, you can't reflash the 07-08 models so if you really want to mod you'll have to go with an 04-06 (no 05 ATs, though).

He's not boosted, but he probably represents the 2nd most powerful NA TSX on here. Whoever did the Hytech prototype is pretty good.

Judging from other posts from you I've seen, I suspect it's a move you wouldn't enjoy. This is what I was trying to say in my earlier post.

Depends how willing you are to mod the K24. I currently have few complaints about mine (about to be even fewer very soon) .

I vote for Peter Cunningham having the fastest TSX, I don't think it's street legal, and I don't think he's a member.

Don't automatically discount a 4 banger. I have a CL-S 6MT but I still love driving my 97 Prelude. If you absolutely need bottom end torque, you may not be happy with a TSX. If you can be happy ringing the shit out of a motor that's happy to do it, you may love the TSX.

My advice is try to get some substantial TSX seat time before you make a move.

I'm almost certain the RealTime TSX is not street legal. It is considerably lighter than any of our TSXs for sure, but I believe BigBen still has it beat on total hp/tq .

Speaking of the RealTime Racing team, I wonder what's going to happen to their next-gen car since I don't think they'll want to use the new 09 TSX. It's bigger, heavier, and it looks like complete ass .

I notice they have "Certified Pre-Owned Acura" decals on their cars. Perhaps they won't run the 09 until 2010.
