Emblem choice? Rice or not.

Hey acurazine I have a 2005 TSX in Carbon Gray Pearl, simple intake mods, getting a-spec suspension soon, etc. etc.

I was originally looking into getting an a-spec badge like this:

a-spec badge underneath the taillight

Unfortunately, I'm not about to spend hundreds of dollars on an a-spec badge, as I found out was basically the only option. So as an alternative, I've been looking into other "performance" badges for the TSX. I want to stand out but not look ricey. My car is clean, the only other exterior modifications I have are an M3 style lip spoiler, paint-matched outer grille trim, and chrome center caps.

The three badges I've been looking at are the euro-R badge, the Type-R badge and the Type-S badge.

I'm leaning towards the Type-S badge because I'm not rebadged so euro-R makes no sense and I feel that Type-R is a little too "stereotypical ricey".

Anyways I'd love to hear peoples opinions!

well, thats only if you want to remove them....your original post makes it seem as if you are adament on a badge.

thus its only my opinion that you dont add one.
now, if you want to remove them...there wont be a big difference in discoloration...and if there is, you can take a little cleaner wax and rub it clean

like apply a rubbing compound or cleaner wax to the area.

It has been garaged for most of its life except during weekdays when the first owner was working so I'm hoping maybe it wont be too bad

Yeah I can see how I was confusing, really I just want to change it up; make it stand out. Whether thats a rebadge or adding a badge doesn't really matter to me as long as it looks good and different.
