ecu reflash
ecu reflash
so hondata wants to play around with us 2005 autos ... anyone ever heard of or used jet chip for a reflash? here's a link to their site, lemmy know what you think? fyi, the price is $299 and that includes next day air shipment of ecu (keep in mind you'd prob want to pay to overnight your stock ecu to them)

First, I've never heard of them.
Two, they sound too good to be true.
Three, if an experienced Honda tuner like Hondata can't even get everything on the TSX ECU figured out, I highly doubt someone has beat them to it.
Four, it looks rather like a solder on chip, which I question and raises even more questions about warranty problems.
IMO, I wouldn't touch it with a 10 foot pole unless there is some sort of third party testing and data to back up their claims.
