Ebay Rotors---

My car is starting to have a lotta vibration durring braking and i'm sure it has something to do with the rotors sinc eits got damn near 70k and i've never done anything with the rotors (just cahnged the pads)

I need a cheap, but preferably better looking replacement...

what does the forum think of these i found on ebay?

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ACURA...38630651QQrdZ1

I dont care for any performance gain, stock or better is all i care for, and i like the look of some drilled/slottedness behind my 19's though. so if not these, any ideas or thoughts on whats better out there?

thanks in advance

kevin

first off why would you want to cheap out and buy a non name brand ebay product on the number one part that stops your car and can save your life in the event of having to stop early for any unforeseen things in your path. personally doing something like that just does not make sense.

my recommendation is to buy rotora slotted rotors from the board vendor excelerate as he has a very good deal on them.

Acura TSX (04+)
- ROTORA Front Slotted Rotors - $165/pair
- ROTORA Rear Slotted Rotors - $140/pair

Acura CL/TL/TSX (All years and models) (Different part #'s, same prices)
- ROTORA H2 Ceramic Front Pads - $55
- ROTORA H2 Ceramic Rear Pads (excluding TSX)- $45

you can get new rotors and pads for the car for only $415 and you will defeinitly have atleast equal to stock performance.

https://acurazine.com/forums/sponsored-sales-group-buys-10/rotora-slotted-drilled-slotted-rotors-special-cl-tl-tsx-324531/

or

just go to your dealer and get ever thing replace with factory parts for about $360 for the complete job which is what I just did with my CL cause it is the cheapest alternative since that includes installation and parts.

I bought Brembos from Sports Brakes (sportbrakes_int) on ebay for my other car, slotted & dimpled. Good Deal. I don't see any for the TSX, but you could contact him.

This is what stops your car and prevents you from getting into an accident. Don't cheap out on it. I'm not saying you have to buy them from me but I wouldn't recommend questionable rotors.

Just FYI. those are Brembo blanks slotted and drilled by that company. Those do not come from Brembo like that. That company is doing the machining and I would be careful of that. If they don't know what they're doing you could have a cracked rotor in no time.

Yes, you are correct. They are 'aftermarket' drilled & slotted. I did the dimpled (instead of drilled) & slotted for that exact reason...didn't want to take a chance drilling thru one of the ribs.
