The price is very expensive! I readed with K-Series motor from cartechbooks and said that K-PRO gained 48hp. Hondata Reflash gained around 28hp.

 

It doesn't mean anything for us though. There's no k-pro for the TSX.

 

The buy-it-now price is pretty cheap for K-Pro+ECU. Too bad we can't use it.

 

Oh I see, I just wonder if it works out or not. I have reading on cartechbooks about Hondata relfash and K-PRO. I want to get reflash in local for $645.84 with shipping. I am trying to save money. Thanks for info JTso and Chuson.

 

There's no such thing as reflash locally for the TSX unless you are close to Hondata. Everyone has to send the ECU, key and immbolizer to Hondata. All Hondata dealers are simply processing the payment and perhaps shipping. In some cases, the Hondata dealer may help remove and reinstall the ECU for you.

 

Well, I looked at Hondata dealers online and there is one local called Solid Technology in Albuquerque, NM. I called them and check it out about reflash and they can do it. Also, I looked at Hondata reflash removal online and it seems pretty easy to remove ECU, key, immbolizer, etc. How much did you pay total for reflash? I am curious. Thanks Jtso.

 

I paid whatever the standard price is. You should call that dealer again and ask them if they realize you have a TSX. Hondata is the only place that handles the TSX reflash.

Hondata is in California
All local "hondata dealers" will ship your ECU to California for reflash
Some local dealers might help you remove the ecu, but they wont reflash it themself

Yeah I know Hondata is in California. I am from New Mexico and trying to figure it out with budget to buy Hondata. Yeah I understand, but I think I prefer to remove the ecu myself and it seems not hard to do it. Local dealers will cost me $80.00 per hour. I don't want to pay more $$$. I found Hondata online showed how to remove ecu,etc. I got it, thanks.
