Desperate Times Call for Desperate HELP!

Sorry to be repetitive on the post but no one responded to my post on another thread and my car is immobilized until I figure out the below.

I got around to installing my Injen intake in SR mode today. I am very satisfied with the sound as I havn't been able to drive it around because I cant get the bumper on right. I decided to take off the bumper as I have fat fingers and big hands. I also didn't want to take the wheel off since I just got em torqued to the right setting. When attempting to put the bumper back on, it seems that as I clip it from one side the other comes too short. Any tips for putting the bumper back on?

Also, am I supposed to remove anything else but the 3 piecies in the self taken picture below? There was still one more piece which in the diagram below is the upright tube near the #21 and the plastic housing duct near #12. I could remove it but it was never mentioned in either the diy thread off here nor the Injen installation directions. It just wobbles around and runs up to the engine bay but I don't know if it serves a use. It's held by a 10mm bolt and it's duct sits right by the battery.

It would not interfere with the CAI extension. Would it be a total of four resonator pieces that I would need to remove?

Here's a pic of what I took out from the resonator area!

Heres the diagram!

It you didn't take out item #10, it is held on by bolt #16 in the diagram.

agreed, that vertical pipe is the only other piece for removal. it doesn't serve a purpose now that you have the resonator out.

the bumper...i don't know. just make sure all the right clips/hooks are lined up. it may seem shorter, but sometimes you just have to jam it back in, assuming you've lined it up right.

Lift the bumper up and over the clips. It should just fall into place after that.

I started from the middle when putting my bumper back on. It gave me a little bit of hassle, but I got it on fine eventually. I just looked at my parts too, and have the same stock parts left over that you do.

To adress your bumper reinstall problemo, I suggest that you make sure the splash shield under the car is above the lower bumper "lip" and that the splash guards in the wheel wells are also behind the bumper "lip" when you are reinstallling.

This might be causing the bumper to come up "short" on the sides.

My method is to replace the bumper from the center and hold it up with my knees, as I push it into place.

WOW, I must of been tired that night cuz on my first try this morning the bumper went right into place. I was like this is toooo easy, there must be something wrong!

In reference to the tube and its cover which sits in front of the battery, I took those out. The cover was a b*tch getting off with the two sideways snap screws. I broke 2 of the 3 and thats how I got them off. Can't stand those damn things. Acura should stop using them.

I liiiiiiiiiiike. (Allie G) I have it in SRI mode. I took the first spin around my area and found that the launch is nice. I found a 04/05 NBP TSX in the next lane staring my car down. He revved his engine at the light and I revved mine and than I saw the astonished look on his face when he heard my intake. I redlined in 1st gear and smoked him. I guess he was still in auto mode.
I love using it in SS mode but not regular. It sounds so boggy when in auto mode. In SS I love hearing it roar. It's so loud. I guess my ecu still has to get used to it.

I just arrived to Philly and I noticed one thing that had me worried. I was in 5th gear (SS mode) and was going 60mph. I increased the accelerator but nothing happened. I had it floored and still no acceleration. I went to auto mode and when I slightly pressed the accelerator and it accelerated as it should. Is their a limiter on the 5th gear in SS mode?

Overall it was a great buy. I might get sick of how loud it is in SRI mode and switch it to CAI.
