DC Header installed

I feel the torque but I am not sure about the hp gain...of course this was all tested with the butt dyno...but my car does make a hissing noise when i push the car...i am wondering if this is because the car is breathing better or of there is something wrong with the install....any help or suggestions??? is it normal to kind of hiss???? or to make any other sort of noise??

This is a normal sound. The hissing comes from the design of the header. The ribs towards the end of the header causes this sound and there is nothing to be concerned about. If you have the latest design you shouldn't have any problems. I've had mine for over 5 months and no problems so far. Jtso just installed my high-flow CAT and inspected the header and no cracks externally or internally.

The install instructions say to reuse the head gasket... my opinion... don't. I was really careful with mine and the thing still leaked. I just re-installed the header with a new head gasket tonight... that problem has been fixed... but there seems to be a leak either at the 4-2 or at the cat... Hope it works out for you

Does this hissing sound only happen with the DC header?

I have the Comptech header and I don't think I have ever heard a hissing noise

I've heard a similar 'hiss' when driving a Maxim Works (M-Bit) equipped CL9, although it was no where near as loud or intrusive as that of the DC Sport design. I still haven't got around to having mine repaired yet, and I'm really missing it....both from the gains and believe it or not the sound .
