Thanks Domn, I always try to shop local just to save on shipping and duty charges. I'll try Performance Improvements sometime.
My car came from Erin Mills Acura. I know the manager of the body shop there. The whole experience was a good one. Pricing was in line with all the other quotes I got and the bonus was this dealer is like 5 mins from my house.

I might consider getting the strut bar ... depends on your review after you get it installed

I'm thinking about the neuspeed tie bar still, but I'm a little worried that adding rigidity in the front will throw off the oversteer/neutral balance that the rear sway bar supposedly adds.

The Neuspeed bar should work fine with the stock strut bar to strengthen the front. I wouldn't worry about the strengthen frame structure affecting handling characteristic because the tuning of suspension should base on a strong frame. You should use other components for fine tuning such as adjustable struts/shocks, spring rate, sway bar size, alignment, tires and air pressure instead.
The Neuspeed bar is much cheaper and you can get it off ebay for around $100. I like the Comptech bar for its look.

Just checked UPS tracking and the Comptech bar will arrive Monday! Damn! AutoCarparts is fast! I will definitely buy from them again. I also notice the shipping weight is 4.8 lbs comparing to the Neuspeed bar at 8.0 lbs.

Comptech strut bar installed!
Okay, I finally had a chance to install the strut bar after being out of town for a week. My first impression was like damn! this thing is light, weights in about 3.25 lbs including all the mounting hardware. The stock bar is 4.0 lbs (not bad at all). Removing the stock bar was relatively easy. The hardest part was to snake it out from under the wiring harness and AC lines and clearing the mounting bolts. By no means difficult, I was being careful so took a few minutes by myself. It would be a lot easier if another person help holding one end during the removal.
After the installation, I took the car out for a spin and it felt firm and balanced. I did a few quick U-turns and it's pretty flat through out the turns. Keep in mind I also have the Comptech rear sway bar and Yoko ES100 tires so the handling was pretty good already. It basically has the same mounting design as the stock bar but has extra mounting surface coverage on the strut tower via three mounting points instead of the stock bar with two mounting points. Honestly, I think the Neuspeed bar install on top of the stock bar will provide more support than any single bar alone. The Comptech bar is good for looks.
One thing I really like about the Comptech bar is the provisioning of all stock bracket mounting points. I have never seen any aftermarket strut bars have such detail in design. The bar installs like it came from the factory. I'll let the pictures do the talking. Enjoy.
