That's actually easily 55 more whp....not bad at all from a supercharger, and as said before you could up the boost with a pulley safely for probably 20 more. Not to mention the torque gains provided instantly with the roots blower. If Jackson Racing is indeed developing one as well, it will probably be just as good if not better, and be a grand cheaper. I'm getting rather excited actually, as I'm going to buy a TSX in the Spring. Hopefully I will slot into this market right as people are having real-life experiences with this stuff.
Now if only Eibach would consider developing a Sport System Plus for the TSX, I would only have to deal with two vendors to have my dream TSX.

Ok but seriously how much more boost can you get from a pulley??? Im gonna stick to my turbo Im thinkin if Hondata doesnt come out with something Im gonna talk to AEM and see if they have anything compatible. If I have to go piggy back I'll call DAZZ and see how they did it with the HKS components...

Generally, on most superchargers I've seen for Honda/Acura's, the supercharger puts out 6lbs of boost, and the smaller pulley option increases this to about 10 lbs of boost. after about 10lbs of boost you get to the point where you have to start building your internals up to deal with it, and it gets real expensive, real fast. I don't want to get in a super/turbo charger argument. The bottom line for me is, a supercharger has the advantage of being king of drivability, while the turbo is the king of power. It all depends on what you want. If the Comptech Supercharger puts out 240 whp and 210-220 wheel torque at 6-8 lbs of boost, that would be exactly what I would want out of the TSX. If I were a drag race superstar, I might decide otherwise. For me, the only car I really want to smoke is the BMW 330.

I'll be happy with 240WHP... you would be able to smoke 330i's all day long, without a doubt... 240WHP is around 280 crank HP!!

Yup, in fact you would be putting out the same if not slightly more hp and torque than the Dinan Supercharged 330i's. There a couple of those around my neighborhood, and I'd love to show them something.

I thought this picture of the RSX-S comptech supercharger was interesting:
http://forums.clubrsx.com/attachment...hmentid=135240
there is a Hondata intake manifold headshield gasket there... I guess Comptech is infact working with Hondata.

Besides, they make CAI's as well right? Why would they do that?

the CompTech SC shoots the TB straight out at the battery.

Injen CAI will work with it because of the rubber tube injen uses at the TB:
K&N though.....
maybe you could use a rubber tube to make it fit? its possible...

It's not uncommon to reposition the TB differently due to the SC location. JRSC is the same way with certain applications. The CAI mostly cannot be used without modification. However, all you have to do is replace the elbow portion of the intake and reuse the rest of the components.

Comptech vs Jackson Racing.
They are exactly the same price @ $3595. Both with ECU programming. Same RSX type S. Which SC setup would you get? Jackson is using a new Gen IV 62 Eaton blower, not sure what Comptech is using...

IMO Comptech, better support, better workmanship and quality.
Plus Comptech gives exclusive support to Hondas while Jackson will not develop a S/C for the TSX.
I've seen alot of people have problems with Jacksons SC over at clubrsx from pulleys to belts.
Now if you want to be fair, compair Comptech's "Stage 1" RSX-S 5psi supercharger to Jacksons "street" 5psi supercharger. The Comptech dyno's better numbers than the Jackson "street" S/C.
Comptech's "Stage 1" S/C for the RSX-S only alters the ECU on the RSX to lower the redline because the fuel injectors were at their limits. While the race version of Jacksons has Hondata K-Pro.
Comptech in the future will offer different stages of superchargers, and aftercoolers.
Comptech also has way more racing experience than Jackson.

quick install question on the RSX...do you have to drill and weld a new plug in the oil pan? I'm just trying to judge how hard the install for the TSX is going to be.
