Just caught wind from one of your vendors here on the site...
he said All 3 superchargers are on the testing cars (TL, TSX, RSX)..
TSX charger will be about $3200.00 retail..
and before his call waiting started beeping like a mo'fo, he said something about the chargers putting out more power than expected...![Dunno](https://acurazine.com/forums/images/smilies/dunno.gif)
Sit tight... they will all be available soon... I just hope Comptech got their shit in order this time around because I waited over 45 days for my charger to get at my door.... AFTER I already paid for it...

with my CL-S, there was nothing that was a MUST HAVE for it to perform properly... but you might want to free up your exhaust since your going to be charging a good amount of air in, you want it out as quickly as possible...
and if you guys want to have some fun like I did, then maybe you should look into a DUMP.

you just need to know what diameter your piping is... and get it welded in... OPEN loud ass exhaust at the flip of a switch...

I measured for an all stainless set-up that was a direct replacement for the Cat Converter.
I lose low end torque, but trust me, the car is a beast to launch off the line and keep the tires planted, so it really does not hurt me to lose the low end... so you guys who are dead set on it, might want to get the dump welded in after the Cat Converter...

Smitty, what did you do as far as flowing extra fuel is concerned? Did you have to do any upgrades in that department or was the OEM ECU enough?
I guess I'm curious because if they're testing the S/C on the TSX already I'm assuming that the OEM ECU should be sufficient.

you will probably get a piggyback ESM unit to tap into 3 ECU wires so the ECU(your computer) does not see BOOST... For you guys who get it.. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND you solder the ESM into the ECU wires and you DO NOT use just the wire taps... about 4 of the CL-S guys had troubles with hesitation because the wire taps did not bite into the ECU wires.
The unit will more than likely come with a FPR (fuel pressure regualtor).and an UPgraded Willbro fuel pump....(.no need for an added injector).....so if they offer a HBP (Higher boost pulley) so you can see that extra 2lbs of boost ( WHICH will VOID your warranty, like it does for the CL-S guys), then all you need to do is adjust the fuel pressure regulator (bump it up a alittle so you do not get any detonation in the higher RPM range)....
In all honesty, I waited 1 yr after the charger was out before purchasing, just because I wanted ALL the bugs worked out... I researched endless hours of it, bought everything I needed (boost gauge, fuel pressure gauge, 51R smaller battery,etc.).... then did the install myself... I never put a supercharger on before, but I am really glad i researched the hell out of it, got some tips from the guys who installed theirs and picked up as many tips so the install went smoothly.....

My install on my CL-S was about 10 hours, because I ran into some problems and needed parts overnighted from Comptech. The pin for the fuel suction filter was missing off of the Willbro fuel pump, the FPR hose had 2 fittings and one of them had no threads (was suppose to be threaded)...
I sent a pretty nasty letter to Comptech since I waited over 45 days for the Charger and then had those problems... I never got a response from them.... in due time if they keep it up they will do nothing but lose more and more customers.

I'm hoping on this install nothing needs to be moved, that should make the install much much easier. my roommate's jrsc'd prelude required moving the oil pump, and I believe the rsx requires moving the alternator slightly.

How much WHP do you guys think we'll see with the s/c.... the power is the main thing the tsx lacks, ad this could do the job...

only thing u have to do to the rsx is space the altnator and ac unit quater of a inch on each one to give the blower room to fit right in not a big deal take a bolt off replace it with anew one with a spacer on it

Damn, 300 WHP from the Comptech supercharger? Now that would be crazy, but really sweet. I hope the numbers work out for you guys. The TSX would be awesome with 300 WHP.

280 would be hot.. i think with a good flowing exhaust and some nice headers along with the injen cai.. we'll hopefully see the numbers the rsx-s w/ s/c has...
