Comptech modified high flow injectors

It looks like Comptech has the high flow injectors available, which means SC boost upgrade kit in the future and possibly moving the rpm redline back up. It might even be possible to eliminate the FPR modification step as well.

wait, SC upgrade kit? I'm so dumb, I've been worried about if I get a SC, and then Comptech releases a better kit, then I would have to repurchase it. How much do you guys think upgrades will be?

Typically companies don't like to give things away, so yes, if they come up with a higher boost option, then likely they'll want some money for it.

Those high flow injectors have been used by the RSX guys for awhile now.
I talked to Billy when I was at Comptech on Friday about the Stage 2 kit and they aren't quite ready to work on it yet. I believe they are going to working on the SC kit for the 2005 TSX MT next. They also have a few other prototype parts that they are experimenting with.

If we really wanted to go Stage 2, we might be able to push for one though. They already have the injectors and pulleys available since the RSX kit uses the same ones. The only thing missing is a reflash/tune by Hondata to handle the new injectors and higher boost. If only we had K-Pro

I wouldn't worry about purchasing the kit and then having Comptech release a better kit. The base kit will probably remain the same. Everything else to make the kit better will probably be upgrades that you can add to your existing kit.

Based on the pricing for the RSX kit it would be $700 if you bought it alone, or $399 if you bought it with the SC kit at the same time.

No no, I didn't mean I want them to give upgrades for free, I'm just saying I thought they wouldn't offer 'upgrades', I thought they would just be like "Okay Stage 1 is $4k, Stage 2 is $5k, if you already have stage 1 its still $5k". I know, my logic made no sense, but good to hear!

Apparently at 5psi and 7,000 RPM the stock injectors hit their ceiling. Thus the decrease in rev limit with the SC, so you don't end up running lean. This was mentioned in the first SC thread a bit of time ago.
