Good for FI upgrade but not very useful for a stock engine, unless the stock injectors are reaching max duty cycles. But the ECU still needs to be reprogrammed to trim fuel during idle.

Agreed. I just thought it interesting since there is no complete FI solution as of yet....

FI = Forced Induction (Turbo or Supercharger)

Though very very few have made a turbo work, there is no solid solution yet from a vendor.

Hondata uses the current limits of the injectors.

Yeah, my guess is these injectors are actually meant for the Si... it fits all K series motors. Acura screwed us with the DBW and difficult ECU.

Will mapping and balancing the stock injectors flow rate help any much? (or whatever they do)

http://www.rceng.com/service.htm

Any set of fuel injectors will benefit from RC Engineering's clean and flow service, This is even true of new injectors because the individual-injector and system-total fuel flows must be known for performance tuning purposes. It is not uncommon for a set of original equipment (OE) injectors to have an unacceptably wide range of fuel flow and it's possible to even have new injectors that do not function properly. RC's standard testing process identifies those problematic injectors.
