I don't think you'll find many of just the header because there is not much to hear. The aftermarket headers all have very close to stock sound. It's the Cats, intakes, and exhausts that get louder.

Just to be clear:
- the header BY ITSELF sounds completely stock
- adding a header AFTER hondata will sound slightly more raspier in vtec

Keep in mind that the casual observer won't notice it at all. Heck, my wife thinks my car is completely stock.

j/k - she has a lead foot and loves the mods....

Most people's first engine mod is either intake or exhaust. So I don't believe you will find any header sound clips on the forum.

because i was doing searches and reading on the comptech header and people say that the comptech header is loud very noticeable.

and in my previous car, header was my 1st mod. which i tink is better than intake and exhaust because its not AS noticeable on certain cars and how u hide it.

but if you guys say its stock sounding then i guess my previous research was false and ill tak your word for it.

thx

I can't say that I noticed any difference. It's the perfect "stealth" mod. Nobody will know it's there except you.

I've mentioned louder before, but only because it was strapped to an RT Cat as well. The header is only noticeable, as Black_6spd said, at vtec. With Hondata, vtec IMO is more pronounced as well.

^^ Dang, that's too bad man. Looks like you had a nice Scion. How much power was it putting down to the wheels with the boost? You know your 1/4 mile time? And the Scion has two sunroofs? Was that a factory option? That looks nice.
