Anybody knows whether the auto tranny for the CL9 is the same as the CL7A ?

 

CL7 doesn't come with Auto tranny .. ~ it's 6sp only .. ~

 

the 6 speed manual is the CL7R aka Euro R, there's a non Euro Version K20A with auto trans

 

there is no CL7R, only CL7 which is the Euro-R. The CL9 comes in auto w/ the k24 which is the TSX and Euro Accord. sorry, you're out of luck. I don't believe ANY car w/ a K20A comes with Auto.

We have CL7A K20A auto tranny here in Singapore

The Euro R is known as the CL7R

CL9 which is the TSX

 

There are a couple of base and 4WD Accord models with the K20 engine (not sure if it's K20A though) in the Asian/Japan market. I think it's the same engine that's in our base RSX that makes about 160hp, and those come with auto. Not sure if they're named CL7 though...

 

yup they are named CL7A, I'm just finding out for my friend whether his CL7A tranny is the same as the TSX auto

 

ic .. ~ u r taking abt the base model with 155hp/19f.lb K20A ~ which is named Accord 20EL/20A in JDM Accord model line ~
i believe the tranny is probably the same seems the 24TL and 20EL/20A has the same gear ratio ~

 

never heard of a k20a being mated to an AT.

 

they r DBA-CL7 and ABA-CL8 for the 4WD model
powered by a RSX base like K20A
where the EuroR is ABA-CL7
