Cargo net question

I heard that the 350z cargo net works well on the tsx but when i went to go look up one on ebay, there's 2 kinds, one for the roadster and one for the coupe. Did anyone buy the 350z cargo net and which one did u use???

I stopped at a local Nissan dealer's parts department today to see if they had the 350Z cargo net in stock, & how much they charge.

The guy at the counter clicked away for a few minutes, told me there was no such part available. He asked what year the car was, so I said 04 or 05. Clicked away for a few more minutes. Nothing.

I gave up on the local dealer. I will just get one online.
Which site do you guys recommend for the 350Z cargo net? Or just ebay?

I got mine on eBay from a guy who wrecked his Z before he got to install the net. About $30 I think but I cant remember exactly.

My Nissan dealer in the area did have them, but the eBay one was still a lot cheaper even with shipping. It was authentic, too.

Dude, that's BS. I called the local Nissan dealer and told them I wanted the cargo net for a 05 350Z coupe. He wasn't sure one existed, but I insisted that one did and after a few minutes of him searching the parts catalog online, he found it. It was news to him.

The part is officially called the "Trunk Convenience Net" and the part number (at least for Canada) is: 999CI-ZP000.

By the way, it's a perfect fit for the TSX trunk. I couldn't be happier with mine. I still can't figure out why the Acura solution is so complicated by comparison.

I will try again Monday. I should have just given them the part number to look up in the first place.

Thanks.

Where can I find info on this 350Z cargo net? Like how it installs?

NM, not going to try it...don't like it that it sits on top of the items..i rather have the TSX solution that goes across.

The parts guy at our Nissan dealer couldn't find the 350Z net either.
The one from the Altima also works. I stole the one from my bro. The net's not quite as big and 2 of the hooks are just bungie loops (no hooks, grr), but it works.
