Carbon Fiber hood..
I'm looking for a carbon fiber hood. I've found one for $549.95. I really like the Phase one thuogh and I was wondering how much did InspireS pay for his? Also is there anyone that has one and how much did they get it and where did they get it. I've searched all over and I haven't had any luck . Thanks for any help/suggestions.

Inspire S probably got it from www.aj-racing.com
Tyr them and see. I am sure it will be a little more expensive, their prices usually are. There is another company in FL I believe that imports parts from Phase. Mostly for the NSX, but an authorized dealer none the less. Try a search for phase on the internet, you should get the Japanese website...they have the companies name on there........

Yeah I called the people in Florida and they have nothing in stock. They want about 1000 bucks for the hood and having it shipped from Japan, about 500 bucks lol. That's outrageous for me, so no thanks. I'll try kaminari and the vis racing.

Which makes it more fun to try and get...so only you will have one. May be expensive, but that is what makes the car better..something different from everyone else.

If I do get one, I'm going with FiberImages, 775.00 shipped to my door here in Alaska. I swear these mods are so freaking expensive man, if only I had the patience to wait a year I could most likely get one for 350.00.

well I have the intake, exhaust, lighter wheels, and soon the CFH. As soon as the Hondata ECU is out I'm right on that too. I have money already set aside for it, I think that will add the most gain until a turbo comes out for it. Mainly the Carbon fiber hood is just for looks, I need it to help with my gunmetal wheels on the silver car. They look great, but the CFH will help the car look even better.

That's it, I'm buying the freaking part today! I have the digital camera, but my family lost the freaking USB connector that you use to upload the pics onto the computer. I will have pics by this evening, it's been way to long and you guys need to see my car lol.

P.S. I'll post some here and in the gallery later on.

Heh, I was saying that I was buying this part for my digital camera, the USB cord that you connect the camera to the computer with. I was going to post some pics until I went to CompUSA to find out that you have to order the part directly from Kodak. So that puts a delay on my pictures. In about two weeks or so, I will order the FiberImages CF hood. By May 15th I should have it on along with some pics .

haha thanks guys. My car is silver with 25% tint in the back(taking off the front tint today, got a ticket 160 bucks ) and 18inch Arospeed gunmetal wheels, Injen intake, and the Comptech catback exhaust. After the CF hood, I need the Mugen grill and some headers. Are the Toda headers out yet?

I love the Comptech exhaust, it has a really nice deep, throaty sound to it. It is very shiny and I've had a lot of compliments on the look. The drone at 70-80mph is not to bad, with the music going you can drown it out. It gets loud when flooring it to about 5-7000 rpms. If you have the Injen intake that really adds to the noise after 4-5000 rpms. It give the car a more performance type feel to it.

yeah he did lol. If I were making 3500 per month I could afford something like that, but for right now, 770 is as much as I'm going to spend. Even 770 is really expensive for a CF hood.

a quote from Toda Racing USA
"Thank you for your e-mail and interest in TODA Racing. While we're not working on any TSX specific parts, there is a possibility that some of our RSX products will be compatible with with TSX. We plan to investigate this towards the later part of 2004. Hopefully we'll be able to offer an Engine Kit for the TSX which should add 30hp."
hmmmmm, interesting^^
i guess patience is the key to mod a new car like our TSXes huh!

Haha yeah 21 in AZ your car is hot man, I like it a lot. Also patience is the key. The only reason I'm so impatient is because I live in Alaska. We got 4-5 lousy months to do all this stuff to our cars, race, cruise, and try to have some fun before the snow hits the ground in early October.
