i dunno if i like the lines of this thing or not. eh, i may try it depending on how high it looks like the ebay auction will go. no way i'm paying $700 + shipping from importfan.

any way you slice it. Our car has an aluminum hood, so this wouldn't save more than a couple pounds. Has anyone in history ever painted their CF hood to match the rest of the car? Doing so is the only thing that would make this not look ridiculous.

The tsx hood is heavy for a aluminum hood. i think it'll save more than juz a few lbs.

I don't think the TSX hood is aluminum...

We don't. The first time I auto-x'd my TSX, I was able to slap on my magnetic numbers on the hood.

I can't remember where I read about the aluminum hood on the TSX, but I always thought the hood is way too heavy for aluminum. Unless it's aluminum with steel reinforcement.
