auto dim mirror

anyone have one of these?

ummm....why? If you have a TSX, it already auto-dims.

You talking about the compass part? There is one for the Accord that I assume would work. Haven't checked the wiring though.

Yup yup, if I remember correctly, the sensor is in the bottom-middle bulge in the mirror.

The auto-dim drives me nuts. With the tinted rear window, I don't want the auto-dim to come on. It resets every time you start the car. I may unplug it.

Why would you need one? It was a standard option for the 05 model.

The auto dim basically takes the difference in light between the front and the rear. The light should be brighter in the rear because of other people's headlights shinning at you. There's a sensor next to the switches towards the bottom of the mirror. If you cover it up with your finger at night and someone is behind you, you will notice that the autodim goes back to normal daytime function. So... all you have to do is fing something to cover that sensor up and trick it into thinking it's daytime.
