I think I like the chrome look better because it makes the car look more expensive. if you want to change the color, especially on a black car, go for a light tint, not paint it all black. too much black isn't that good. gotta show some definition on the car!

I think it also would look really good with the outer ring left chrome, and the inner bar matched to the gray/black plastic part of the grille...I just don't really know how closely they could match paint to the plastic...
