That's really not all that bad. Of course you could do it yourself but I guarantee it will take you most of a day to get it done plus you'd have to rent a spring compressor. I think for $240 I'd just take it to a shop and have it done. Does that price include an alignment after the drop? What about the installation of the camber kit on the rear? You need tools for that too...

If I were doing any drop I'd go for the camber kit. $150 investment to save $600 in tires is pretty good value for money in my books. Since camber is non-adjustable on the rear OEM suspension any drop will affect camber.

so you think even just an 1 inch drop i should still get the camber kit? what about the suspension u think the OEM can stand the 1 inch drop, prob won't last that long but it should still stand it rite?

I say any drop should have a camber kit but I know several people here have dropped without one. There hasn't been enough time to determine how it affects their tire wear but I'm sure they'll notice that the inner edge of their tires is wearing faster than the outside edge.

The only components that will wear out faster on the stock suspension is shocks and bushings. Both are realitively inexpensive to replace and chances are you'd replace them with higher performance pieces anyways.

Haha. See the thing is. I really wouldn't mind doing it for you, it's just that I borrowed my friend's compressor and he took the compressor from work (those portable ones) But I'll holla at him at him and see if he could get it again. If you're in a hurry to install them. You could bring it to the shop where I got my RSX-S and my friend's RSX-S lowered for $100 bucks!!! And they did a good job!!! I guess if you have a Spoon NSX. Just installing springs can't be too hard!!!
