Another turbo TSX.

Another turbo TSX.
Today I went with a friend to drop off his TSX at the dealer in Montclair for some service. On the way there, we stopped by a shop to check for prices on Tein SS Coilovers for his car. The funny thing was that the shop owner owned a modded TSX. He showed us some pictures and I noticed that he had an intercooler. He ended up telling us about how his car was at a shop getting tuned. He said he will have it next week. It was a really nice CG TSX. Fenders were widened. It had a Kenstyle kit. He also told us to come by next week because he would have his car by then. My friend and I are going by next week to see his setup. He said he has no clue what EMS the shop was using for his car. Lets just wait and see. I will provide you guys with details when I find out.

I'm going with my digicam LOL. I'll make sure I get sufficient proof so that people don't call BS on this. The thing is that he seemed very hesitant about telling us anything. I asked him if he was on any of the forums and he said "I hate it because people ask you tons of questions." I forgot to mention that they expect to put out somewhere around 450HP after tuning. I dont know if that is with stock internals or not. I can't wait until next week.

No way. The amount of boost that would be needed for 450 WHP would crush the stock high compression 2.4 like a soda can.
Now that new 2.4(??) factory turbo engine Honda is gonna be putting in that new cute-ute and next gen TSX should be an awsome platform to build a high horsepower big-booster. Always wanted honda to build a turbo powerplant.

Do you have any links to articles or something regarding the next gen TSX motor?

I totally forgot to mention the state and shop. I am located in California and the shop's name was Audio Vision if I remember it correctly. Don't worry guys. I will post the details on this forum as soon as I find out about it. Also, the people that built and are currently tuning the kit are none other then Turbonetics. Try not to launch a massive email attack on them until next week though.

Well if its a big company as in turbonetics they will come up with something. Even if they are using a custom one off hondata flash for that one car....Hondata really needs to start with the Kpro...this is getting ridiculous.

they might change them to RSX-S heads to make more power, but you don't really need to worry all that much about the compression. Other turbo k series seem to be doing fine on it.
