04/06 Front end swap is possible
Well here's the proof, Reach and I go together to swap front ends between my 04 and his 06. Everything is a perfect fit, bumper w/ grill as well as headlights. This means you should be able to fit the 2006 Mugen on a 2004 and a 2004 Phase bumper on a 2006. You can also fit the 2006 JDMs on a 2004!

06 headlights on a 04
04 bumper on 06 w/ 06 lights
06 headlights on a 04

Headlights are the same size. The whole 'redesign' was all in the marketing, nothing has changed on the back end. Lights and bumpers are interchangeable.

In fact, the only things I see offhand that won't interchange are lip kits, and 04/05 vs. 06 grilles. The grilles are different widths to fit the different bumper, but with a matching bumper, anything is possible now.
I'm looking forward to seeing the first 06 mugen front end on an 04/05, and vice versa!

So you can literally swap the 04/05 and 06 bumpers, AND/OR the 04/05 and 06 lights, AND/OR the hoods... mutually exclusive of each other?
ie: I have a 2004... if for whatever reason I wanted to put 2006 headlights in, that's the ONLY thing I'd need?
I can't believe the headlights are the exact same size... they look different (especially the sides kinda where they're in the fenders).

I dunno, was just looking if anyone would sell their used set, wouldn't be too much away from a new set, but I'm not exactly racking in the big bucks
Probably during the spring, I'll go down for a new set of JDM headlights, or if someone has a set now, maybe. They both look great to me
