I make $48K as a Information Systems Coordinator in CA. I may be stretching a little, but I got the car for close to invoice at just over $25K with 6% finananing for 5 years. I plan to pay in 4 years or less to save on the interest. You can't beat the features for the price, but more importantly there's the sweet rev happy Honda engine we all get to enjoy everyday!

I'm a structural engineer making ~$60,000 a year.
I just got my TSX four days ago and although I knew I could easily afford the payments, I've never spent this sort of money before and I've had a sick feeling of regret. Knowing that so many people in my income bracket are driving this car is reassuring.
This morning it was insanely cold and I was driving to work with my seat heaters and my mp3 player hooked up thinking, "this is as comfortable and content as I will ever be for the rest of the day". It's worth every single penny just for that.

Computer Engineer, just graduated with my Masters and have a 70k/year job lined up.
The car was a graduation gift to myself. Going without a car all throughout college sucked.

In all seriousness, I'm a software engineer/developer for a tax software company called Taxbrain.com We specialize in electronic filing of tax returns. I mostly work on our professional desktop app though.
I'm in the 51K+ plus range also. We are about to go Live in a couple of weeks, and I should actually be working, but I am here instead

Anyway, I'm 22 and got the TSX before starting a real job with the money I earned from a dot com venture I ran for 6 months.
In retrospect I should've just bought a used car for 10K and reinvested the rest of the money. Paying cash for a car seemed pretty cool at the moment, but I'm kicking myself in the ass now that I have a condo and am slowly building up debt.
Oh yea, I'm in corporate hardware sales and it'll pay ~$40-60k depending how I perform the next 6 months...

I'm a project manager at a major US Bank. I traded in my '01 vette for my 07 Type S. The wife wants kids soon and social services frowns upon hauling them around in the hatch.
