wrong choice, shouldn't bought the 5AT
my parents bought me the 5AT tsx for my christmas present. That's the biggest present i've got in my life and i really appreciate it. Thanks Mom n Dad.
My tsx seems to have a high milage compare to others who bought the car around the same time, it's now around 24,000 km.
I'm loving my car but the worst part is i wanna drive stick so bad.. Everyone on this forum said how good the six speed transmission is, how smooth it is but i ain't driving a stick.. shiit..
Is there anything i can do to trade in for a 6MT.. btw the car is under my father's name but he's in hong kong and he cannot come here in these 2 years.. do i have rights to trade in the car? do i have to pay more for trade in?? or any comments or suggestions?? please feel free to give me some advice =)
thanks people

WTF man you got a car as a gift. You don't look a gift car in its radiator. Or something like that.
Be happy with what you have. Trading a TSX for another TSX just for its tranny is not only a poor decision economically, it may also make your parents feel bad.
Then again if they have enough money to get you a TSX for xmas they probably won't care.

AAAhahhahahaahah! (j/k)
Seriously, I'm jealous as hell you got a TSX as a gift. But if it's in your dad's name, I don't believe you have any right on it. Plus I believe you'd lose a few grans on the trade.
Sorry about the bad choice, jcg included. I can rub it in a little more, though, because the 6MT is an awesome tranny!

yep. be happy with what you got. it's better than what most people drive. the mt is sweet from what i hear, but i wouldn't know. living in LA, i'd never be able to get out of 1st gear. damned traffic. maybe i'll get an mt tsx when i have some more open space.

you are kidding? you got a nice car for xmas and want to trade it in for a 6mt!! have you ever driven a stick? it sucks big time in traffic. btw, since the car is in your father's name he has to sign the title to you before you can trade it. it's common sense, i'm assuming you're living at your parents house. you think you can sell their house.
PS-be greatful for the gift!

yeah I mean if you got it as a gift, you really don't need to be complaining. I still love driving a stick, but decided to get the 5AT instead, just because I wanted a car to cruise around, and plus driving a stick in a traffic is a pain in the butt. Haha, but enjoy the gift man, that is one expensive gift.
